How would the unknown interact with the known?

Question: Can a person living in the stream of self-centred society reach that quality of mind in which there is no selfishness? Can the stream of a self-centred society touch the unselfish sky? Can the known be related to the unknown?

Krishnamurti: Human society is the content of self-centered vulgar ideas. When a person renounces such a society, then he is without SELF. There is a quality in his mind that he never had before. Such a mind feels itself responsible for the whole of humanity. This is the compassion which is the quality of the unknown.

How can such a selfless person have any relation with a selfish society? This man wants to share with the society the truth that he has realised, but can the society listen to him?

Renunciation of society is an act of revolution and not an act of evolution!

When one denies living within society he denies evolution. Such a state of mind has nothing to do with evolution. When you are denying self, you are denying evolution.

The entire evolutionary process is the evolution of the self!!!

When you deny Self, you deny evolution. The evolutionary process leads nowhere. The evolutionary process is the evolution of the self.

Life has not been found anywhere in the entire universe except our planet Earth. First a single cell organism was born on our planet and later that process continued, which we call as evolution. The principle of evolution is survival of the fittest. Every cell inside us wants to survive, the same survival desire comes in the form of selfishness in every living being. It means that there is selfishness in every cell of life which has evolved through the evolutionary process.

Krishnamurti only asks for our ATTENTION to or be Choiceleesly AWARE of this human survival instinct. Our mind creates the illusion of survival by putting forward imaginary ideal life values and hiding behind them. By absolute attention, we get to see the hidden desires within us.

The psychological concepts of fear and security, which were imagined by the previous generations ( in the form of god, nationalism, religion, society, family etc.), that is our imaginary idea of Self.

The person who comes to know about this conditioning of the society, his imaginary self gets dissolved and then he gets separated from the stream of the society. But after realising the truth, his responsibility towards humanity increases. Krishnamurti calls this as compassion.

Compassion is the quality of the unknown. Unknown acts within the known human world through intelligent, compassionate, realised persons.

The UNKNOWN world is very vast, it is everywhere. We human beings, living in this little KNOWN world of the planet earth are ignorant of its Truth due to illusions created by evolution.

From unlimited, vast, unfathomable, unknown nothingness, the known universe was created after the big bang(?). Life was an accident on our tiny planet. In the process of evolution, human beings were born. Being ignorant of the actual nature of the vast unknown universe, Our brain created concepts out of fear and we are living and dying for these ignorant concepts.
