Are we really interested to know about ourselves?

J Krishnamurti: Are we completely committed to it? What's there to learn about myself? Nothing. There is absolutely nothing to learn, because myself is nothing. Nothing means not a thing.
We have piled up everything on nothingness: our education, our job, our religion, our arts, our family, our ambitions. These are just concepts and we called this as MYSELF, these are essentially nothing.
We are struggling within these concepts.
What I am to learn about myself? Is it that I am crooked, I am jealous, I fight for my self interest? It's all ME. If we understand that the whole of our existence, our existential concepts are put up by thoughts. And thought is memory. So "I'' is the structure made by the memory. I and content of my memory is not actual, I can't touch it. It's totally unreal to live on memory.
We accept the ILLUSION created by our I and its thoughts as Real and then spend years to unlearn about it. That means one has to reject everything that thought has created. This looks nice but it's very radical.
