Ignorance is the part of knowledge
There is huge psychological knowledge all about concepts of Religion, God and Gurus. All the concepts are ignorance.
Can the mind caught into the huge knowledge of ignorance ever come to know the Truth of life? How shall he find out the Truth?
Can another person or literature lead us to that? Or one must be light to himself?
Knowledge can never be complete hence it is always part of ignorance. Freedom means not to depend psychologically on anything. Then one can be a light to oneself.
In a state of pure observation there is an insight, a total perception which will dissolve all ignorance. This is the only way out from our confusion.
One must have intelligence but intelligence is different from knowledge.
In knowledge there is ignorance whereas intelligence is free from ignorance. And therefore free from illusions, it is not the result of accumulated knowledge.
This quality of intelligence comes when there is perception and action. There is no interval between perception and action, you see and act simultaneously. That intelligence is denied when you are conforming to a traditional pattern. It is the neurotic who sees the danger of traditional patterns and still continues with it.
Compassion has the great quality of intelligence and without intelligence there cannot be another state of life which solves all our problems.
