Viyoddha विशेष योध्दा means special warrior. Other warriors fought with their external enemies but Viyoddha fought with his own internal enemies of mind called as षड्रिपु, the six enemies within.

The shadripus are as follows:

1. Lust or Desire (Sanskrit: काम्)

2. Anger (Sanskrit: क्रोध्)

3. Greed (Sanskrit: लोभ्)

4. Pride (Sanskrit: मद्)

5. Fascination or Attachment (Sanskrit: मोह)

6. Jealousy (Sanskrit: मात्सर्य)

These bind us and keep us confined in this material world (confines of maya or relative existence).
