Who can realise the Truth?
To find out the Truth one must be free from all illusions, which requires terrible honesty, means the mind should not deceive itself.
Our Desire creates illusions.
Mind must be totally free from all illusions that thought has created. e.g. nationalism is an illusion created by thoughts. Then only such a mind can begin to inquire into something of a timeless existence, The Truth.
This is where meditation comes in. In real meditation there should not be any authority. Which means mind cease to be second hand. Authorities instruct us to control our mind. But our mind itself is the controller. When one just observes activities of mind he might escape from various traps of mind.
Pure observation is the action of intelligence. And with that intelligence comes love and compassion. Love is independent of sensations and desires and hence no personal relationship is required. And such a stable mind is the silence. This silence alone can see the timeless, absolute, eternal Truth.
